SN Privilege: Free flight ... pre or post BruAir launch

Post by Koenie666 »

Hi all

I have a dilemma :-)
I have enough miles for a free return ticket on an (SN) BruAir destination. Would it be wise to wait for the BruAir launch or will that mean a downgrade?

It's my guess that a free RT economy ticket will probably be valued as a light ticket in the new structure... hence a downgrade. Do you ppl agree?

damn.. I will have to search a destination for a long weekend soon :)

Right now a return ticket anywhere in europe will cost you 20.000 + Taxes in economy and 25.000 miles + taxes in Business. Exceptions are the promotions of course. As of the 25th of march the a a seat on B light would set you 15.000 miles + taxes and in B Flex 20.000 + taxes (both return). The difference between B lite is exactly eco of today minus the meal (mostly two small sandwiches), the free drinks, and the selection of news papers. That's it. take your own sandwich and bottle of water and save 5000 miles. B flex is more in line with the economy of today plus priority boarding, priority check in, seat in the front..and flexibilty in changing your reservation without penalty Up to you really.

I should have checked my mail first.. as at 10 am this morning I got a mail with the new saving and spending criteria's.

7 500 miles = 1 single b light flight
10 000 miles = 1 single b flex flight

This means that instead of a economy return with my miles saldo I can buy three single b light flights.. (have about 22500 miles)

Does b flex still include a sandwitch btw?
