HEWA BORA B767-200ER

Post by website-info »

Hi All,

Hewa Bora have purchased the old Air Gabon B767 TR-LFH c/n 23178 to replace/Supplement the Tristar on 'certain' routes - no idea if this includes BRU just yet,

Yes BRU is involved. The Tristar will only fly one certain route (I forgot where it was). So, the b767 will come to BRU.

Hello

Sad! :( I always liked to see that good old Tristar. Would rather like to see the Tristar once in a week and the B762 once in the week...

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Last flight of the L-1011 to BRU will be on 9th December.

When the 762ER start flying, the schedules to BRU will also change. Arrival and departure are then on the same day.

Horrible ! It hurts to see a marvelous plane and livery like 9Q-CHC replaced by that sort of rubbish !

I just checked the I'net for other pictures, and it seems there is already a plane with the same reg as the 767... Is this allowed?

That is a decision for each individual country. It was allowed in Belgium at one time, but today it is not.

The L1011 is indeed a nice bird, but I can imagine that an airline prefers reliablility and punctuality over a nic c/s.

Of course, but my reaction was from a spotters' point of view.

Here's another picture :

Hi Guys,

seems the 767 will not be in BRU before mid March, it's currently having interior mods done at Lanseria, Johannesburg which will take another 2 weeks (will try and update when I see it next week)

Hello

You certainly aint the only one thinking that. I actually find it quite idiotic because like that old B767-200 out of the late years 70's or 80's is going to make a big difference. Besides that I REALLY find the 'new' livery SOOO cliché , like everyone is TOO lazy to design a real logo last times , everyone wants just some mix of colors and that's it , furthermore it seems to be a trant to have as much white as possible on your plane. You can evenwell just NOT paint the aircraft , just leave it in bare metal colors than.:D Cathay already found the way.

probably most of you will think I'm again negative but hey... the truth may be said :D let's hope the arrival time is this time better in the new schedule :P

Best regards: Yannick ;)
