OST 17/10/2006

Post by AirSmetten »

Hi guys!

In great contrast with yesterday today I had a really good day at ebos  ! Sadly I and Pietn missed almost everything yesterday accept the nice seaking flyby. But today we were back  . And early this time. I was there from 10 till 14h30 today and the nice traffic made everything good 8) . To begin we had a visit of the MD-900 of the Fed's, followed by a nice MK arrival. Soon afterward I was joined again by Tom and Mike :P We had some fun inventing ladders so we could all have a nice view for the French C-130 departure. This prooved to be a great ID as the C-130 even ade a thouch and go  .

Other movement were the departure again from MK and of course the arrival of the sky Express B-747-200 8) . I think this was the first visit of this bird to ebos.

Enough of me now. Here's the result :

Hi, nice pics Rick
my day started well, as Smetten alreday said, we had a good time at the airport, but my day ends in real sadness. My 50-500 broke down in the late afternoon :( . I still can make pictures with it and all the functions still work, but 2 of the three attaching points at the backside broke, so for the moment it is held together with one screw :? . Already openend it, but it's hopeless, guess I'll have to bring it in, so goodbey lens for 3 months

well, some of the last shots my sweatheart  (trying to be optimistic) made:

Guess that proves that a Bigma doesn't survive a 3 feet drop, even when it's in a special backpack ... Hope you'll get it back soon !

By the way, very nice pics, both of you !

Greetz,

 Andries
