14 Sept: overland transport from ANR to Ranst

According to Gazet van Antwerpen, a passenger plane will be transported from Antwerp to the provincial Fire Brigade Training Centre in Ranst next Friday night.

Wings, engines and propellers will be transported separatedly.

Are there Antwerpenaars who have more details?

Not sure but this could well be Andover 9Q-CDY which is already stored at Antwerp for many years.

I believe the aircraft is indeed 9Q-CDY. A specialised firm is now disassembling the aircraft. The job may be done by Thursday.

Yep it's our good old Andover !!!
I'm gonna miss her overhere !!!
But she'll be used for training the firebrigades ... so let's hope they learn well with her ...
