US Airways Retro America West Livery (photos)

Post by cageyjames »

Boy oh boy. I think it looks great, maybe because I'm an old AWA person. By far the best looking retro livery of US Airways.

It's great to see so many retro liveries being used. Most of them look better than the current liveries.

Absolutly fantastic! Of all the US carriers, I think US Airways has the best schemes. (including the retros)

I'm glad U.S.Airways decided to get away from that dark blue/black color scheme; however, I wouldn't say U.S. has the best color scheme. I myself like NWA and Continental very much. U.S. would be third.

They can actually afford to repaint their airplanes?? I have to admit though, it does look nice......for an Airbus. (Kidding)

It is actually US Airways (without the ".") because you can't copyright U.S.

Kinda weird, but that is why there is no period in our name.

Its sharp but i much better prefer the America West livery that was pre-merger with US Airways. I thought that livery was classy ;)
