1 September: Again 2 emergency landings of SN

Post by dat-tech »

Just for info:
OO-DJJ ---> electrical smoke in cockpit caused by one of the (electrical) filters of the windshield heating. located just above the captain.

OO-DWJ ---> N2 indication eng 2 was gone, Not a reason to declace a 'pan pan' but the captain did.

I don't know what's going on, but SN isn't having a very good period in terms of safety. Good that noone got injured in any of the incidents.

Not a very good period in terms of "safety"??? When exactly was the "safety" of anybody on the ground/in the air in danger?

They have some bad luck it seems at this period. (like every airline has from time to time)

Nothing to do with safety...

Yesterday evening at around 6pm when sitting in the wing tips restaurant there was also a Pegasus 737 TC-APU who made some kind of emergency landing , he stopped on a taxiway close to the DHL apron and then the door opened and someone was carried out into the waiting ambulance

I was on the OO-DFW on the 26 of August. Flight SN3123 to Bologna
The takeoff was aborted due to a technical problem in the cockpit.

We went back to the gate. We finally took off with 1 hour and 30 minutes delay.

Schep
