On Board Restrictions -Laptop Computers

Post by mmciau »

With the restriction being applied to passengers being able to bring their own Laptop Computers aboard, may be, by prior arrangement the airline can supply/allocate an permanemt "on board" pc to a passennger. All the pax has to do is carry a memory stick with allthe dat he needs - load the data stick, process your work, save your work on the memory stick and remove.

Del;eting all work data held in temporary files is deleted on shutting down the PC or the data is converted to a ".dat" file thus denying the next user any access to previous user'd work!

i think the first step would be to touch base on earth again and not loose ourselves in pathetic paranoia.

ok, so we forbid laptops etc because of "terrorist danger"  ? then what? geesh. go to spotterslane in Amsterdam and you can just shoot a rocket.

come on.

ok.. we make planes "super safe"\inside. we can only carry some paperwork [better, we will be chipped] , and we will be strapped in our seats, like in a psycho hospital...

then what? next target is massive cruiseships.. ferries...

then what?

i think some people on travelpolicy making see a 'good' excuse to 'nazi' us all. a few freaks try to fear us, and a few travel-managers and govt people see that as reason to put some suppresive means up. suppresion [under the banner of public safety] has never made a country safer.

It really makes me laugh to see the ban of carry-on when planes queue for dozens of minutes before take-off.
