The ELF programme will be flown by the third A380 flight-test aircraft (MSN002), which is equipped with a fully furnished, 474-seat three-class test cabin.
Good thing they don't do long range tests with a full load of passengers in the 853 seat configuration. I wonder if they could find enough volunteers for that. 'Hey, want to spend the next 36 hours with your feet behind your head?'

They did find 853 volunteers for evacuation - and this involved a lot of injuries.

15 hours flight would be easier... how many are expected to die of DVT?

Passengers are guests from airlines, industrial partners... and Airbus employees who entered a draw.
