Bravo Air Congo starts flights in September to Brussels?

Post by Atlantis »

The last couple of days some things are moving at a high speed.

The company received the airplane, DC-9, for the domestic flights in Africa and the phonenumbers for Belgium, France and Spain are available.

The new startdate seems to be 4 September.

Will this be the final startdate after a couple of delays? I hope so, because I love competition.

Bravo Air Congo starts flights from FIH to BRU on 17 August with three flights a week. The flights leaving Brussels on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. The flights arriving early at BRU: 07.30 and one at 09.30 and leaving BRU at night 23.30 and one in the afternoon 12.30

One flight, Monday, will go via Paris CDG, the other two are direct flights to FIH.

Fingers crossed and hope this will be the final date.

Flights will be operated with their first plane, a 767-200ER (EC-JOZ): first flight 13/09/1988, leased from ILFC.

Their second plane, as Atlantis mentionned, is the N481SF, a DC-9 that was parked in Phoenix for a few years by Aeroméxico. According to allafrica.com, it has received a D-check in the States some weeks ago. Seems they need this DC-9 as add on for their international passengers.

Its strange. When you asked the timetable it gives you only flights on Monday in September with flightsnumbers like I earlier posted.

The date is indeed, again, posponed till 4 September.

I have more info, like timetables and fleet, but I did not put it on this forum because everyday it's changed.

'Heard that domestic flights will start mid-August, and international flights early September.

When I'll hear (wake me up) about the first flight, I'll say "bbbbrrrraaavo", until then it's "wait & see"

I don't think that's decided yet. Bravo can't give a final startdate, even BIAC don't know when they will start.

For the moment its only wait and see

Destinies in the Congo

Post by SN30952 »

These guys are talking about....
Destinies from Europe,-Destinies in Africa,-Destinies in the Congo
ImageImageImage

I count not a few English speaking countries...
(They still want to hire staff speaking French, Spanish and a number of African languages.... No English, Andre?)

Are they waiting for the outcome of the election in "the" Congo?
