FAA's Beechcraft King Air 90's landing gear collapsed

Post by SN30952 »

A FAA Beechcraft King Air 90 was practicing touch-and-go landings at Bradley International Airport, when the landing gear collapsed.

At least very embarassing.

Two FAA inspectors, the only people aboard the plane, were taxiing when the fully extended gear collapsed.
Bradley International Airport was shut down for 3 1/2 hours Friday.

The FAA will investigate the cause of the nose gear failure.
