hi everybody.

Jet airways is in the pipeline for 2007.
Regards
Patrice

The wintertimetable 06/07 is ready for almost 95%.

Some remarks:

Leaving BRU:

Condor: 6 flights a week
Biman Bangladesh: 1 flight a week
Air Algerie: 3 flights a week: this is a surprise.

Decreasing flights:

Syrianair: from 2 to 1 flight
Hewa Bora Airways: from 2 to 1 flight
Turkish Airlines: on the route Ankara from 5 to 4 flights
Royal Air Maroc: on the route Tanger from 5 to 3 flights
El Al: from daily to 5 flights

Increasing flights

Egyptair: from 2 to 3 flights
SkyEurope: from 3 to 4 flights

Could the reason be, more severe visa conditions?

Some of them, I mentioned, decreased their service on a seasonal base, like HBA and TK f.e.

But the reason of AH to leave BRU is a real surprise to me.

The reason is probably to find in a better arrangement between FRANCE and ALGERIE.
No more reason to fly outside France to Algerie

It seems also that Smartwings is dropping BRU. They made some flights in June and July to BRU but due to lack of pax they posponed their flights till September.

But, Smartwings is removed out of the timetable of BIAC and also via amadeus you can not book flights any longer to BRU. Via the site of Smartwings no info because its not updated.

This means, till further information, that two of the three new LCC this year at BRU stopped their services.

Does anyone have a list of the top ten long haul international destinations out of BRU for 2005? I remember someone had posted a similar list for 2004.

Like I already said in an other topic, AH is NOT leaving BRU. they have now send their new wintertimetable and BRU is still on it.

Like I said, it would surprise me that AH would left BRU because the flights are doing very fine.

A few years ago, AH was serving both BRU and CRL during the summer. Could that not be a new option again?

"Die finnische Blue1 startet ab Winterflugplan zweimal wöchentlich von Helsinki nach Brüssel" (Source: Aero International September 2006 issue)

Translated : Finnish carrier Blue1 will start a 2x weekly HEL-BRU flight as of winter schedule 06-07.

Can somebody confirm this news ? Will they use Avro's or MD90's ?

Regards, Robin Bamps.

Thanks sab319.

Very nice to see a regular Blue1 MD90 at BRU soon. Too bad it will be at 8PM when it's dark already...

Because AH was banned at that point from flying into france, lots of flights diverted to CRL
