Where was that pic taken? Just look in the background, some good aircraft there 6 IL-76's.

Indeed, OST. Somewhere during the late '90s (1997-1998, when I got my first camera).

Yep Andries, i agree, i also want to buy a time-machine :wink: , i'm started too late with aviation :( , the only thing i can remember about sabena, sobelair, citybird,... , is me and my dad @25L, i was 6-7, maybe 8 years old, so i didn't have a camera yet=no pictures :cry: :cry: :cry:

In that case you started earlier than me. I started spotting when I was 12 and started taking pics when I was 13.

Those were the days for spotters indeed!
Exotic visitors, no high fences or ladders.
Enjoying the hours of waiting, not knowing what to expect...
