Hi all!

I'm really sorry not having been able to make a picture!! I saw it taxiimg berfore my eyes while waiting to board my plane to vienna on sunday. grrrrrrrrrrr  grrrrrrrrr
But I'm sure somebody else will have a picture!!

As I saw the plane I asked myself what a DHL plane could be doing in another livery!! Now I know, thanks to this topic :)

BTW why is EAT getting rid of 757's ???

If I see it somewhere on my way back to BRU on sunday I'll try to make a picture.

ciao,
TriStar

They wil replace 2 757 by 2 ex-DHL USA A300's

The 757 is becomming to smal on some routes like madrid, istanbul and tel aviv...

And also they can use the A300's very good on routes to marocco for RAM and the usely BAW flights around in europe.

so they wil replace 2 757 by 2 A300's

Hi all,

OO-DPI will perform his last flight for DHL on the 11th of april, the day later she will be deregistered to VT-BDJ and will depart to india whenever the papers are OK.
It is not OO-DPN that will leave also but OO-DPL, my fault sorry...
OO-DPL will leave the network on the 26st of april... and undergo the same fate of it's sistership...
They will be operated by Blue Dart Aviation

maybe a stupid question, but is there a possibility to see this bird arriving/departing at daylight?
I would appreciate it very much if someone could give me 'usefull' answer to my question.

Hey Nik,

There some dayflights once and a while with the 757, mostly charters. The problem is from the moment that there's a change in the network it flies somewhere else...
But I think the day of the deregistration it will most possibly do a testflight for the authorities of India...
Saterday I maybe gona know more, and if there are no changes in the network I maybe can give the routings, I will see what I can get...

Sad to see those two planes leave the fleet. It reminds me of the good old time when I worked for EAT - and could watch them from very close in the hangars.

BTW thanks for all your efforts 757Mech.

OO-DPI arrives Fridaynight again and should be in Brussel tomorrow, it will park on apron 60 South (the 'new' apron) so it should be easy to see from Abelag on Saturday

If everything goes as planned, OO-DPI will leave on April 17.

More info as usual in the spotters database.
