REQ: Logs and photos
As member of the Scramble editorial team I would like to ask the following:
Since we like to involve the Belgian aviation more in our magazine we are searching for photos and logs which are taken on Belgium airfield (civil as well as military). So if you like to see your photo in our magazine, don't hesitate to send it to us. For an example of our magazine take a look at the preview at this link: http://www.scramble.nl/mag.htm
If you like to upload your photos, sent a mail with info of the photo (date, place and photographers name) to milupload@scramble.nl or civupload@scramble.nl. The photo has to be 1600 pixels or 300dpi.
Hopefully we can share information together, and probably we will see your photo in one of our next magazines.
Yours Maarten Peters

Waldorf, please be aware that the comments you refer to are not made by Scramble, but by users of our message board. Their opinions are not related to those of Scramble or the Dutch Aviation Society.
To answer Avro's question: no, we never pay for photos. DAS is a non-profit organisation and Scramble is a made by volunteering enthusiasts for enthusiasts. Additions to Scramble are made and accepted without payment.
Thanks for your time,
Erik - also in the Scramble editorial team

Thanks for your reply. However I find it funny that you don't pay the photographs while people have to pay to get your magazineCivupload wrote: To answer Avro's question: no, we never pay for photos. Well, that's VERY easy to explain... 8)
We have to pay for printing, packing, postage et cetera. Apart from that we need a lot of stuff to make Scramble, like computers and you name it. Though we use many things of our own, we are not able to make a magazine for free of course!
If we would pay for photos the price of Scramble would go up, and we don't want that. Be aware Scramble hardly has any advertisements in it, that's part of our policy to keep it good-looking. Mags that pay for photos take advertisement-income and work commercially.
Greetz,
Erik

Thanks in return for hearing me out.
MKAirlines, your help is also appreciated. One of our editors will contact the EBOS-Spotting webmaster on this subject.
BTW, Scramble is actually looking for an Editor Belgium... Anyone interested can contact me or Maarten for enquiries.
