Any news about load factor on Etihad's BRU routes?

Post by JDarby »

Does anybody know about load factor/health of Etihad's AUH-BRU-YYZ-BRU-AUH route?

It's a little bit early to give final figures. They are flying this route for four months now. We have to wait a month or two .

But of what I have read was that they are satisfy but the yields are low.

The old A332 who are flying on the route AUH-BRU-YYZ are going back to their lessors. More modern A332 are joining the fleet. So, the question is are they going to fly with them this route or will a new B777 fly this.

One B777 is flying to FRA and probably a B777 will also flying to Manchester.

The 777 order is for 5 777-300 aircraft A6-ETA through to ETE.
So if the loads are low on the Brussels route, the chances seeing a Etihad 777 in Brussels are low.
Also they will be saved for the best routes anyway eg Heathrow so they can be shown to the biggest audiences.
However I could be wrong!

Emirates,

Yields are low, that's not the same as load factors.

I would like to know how many people come to BRU and how many are leaving from BRU ...

Danny you are correct, but I was saying that IF the loads are low. (eg a theoretical argument.)

I have heard some rumours from the girl that left out little town to work for them. She sad that most of the girls that started working to Ethiad have left there jobs after 6-9 month. The pay was not as good as they been told. She has actually been forced to take loans from the Airline to pay some medical bills.
Other information she had was that many flight was half empty all year around.

I heard a rumor (DON'T KNOW IF TRUE OR NOT) from this side of the pond that BRU-YYZ-BRU is showing good load factor (but not yield), thanks to SN Brussels. However, AUH-BRU-AUH is not doing well.

This is a little bit of topic but for the new route Abu Dhabi to Muscat, Etihad will use their new A330-200 for that route.

That will be one of shortest, if not the shortest A332 routes at 237 miles/381 km
