TAROM - emergency landing at BRU

Post by rares_dan »

I saw yesterday on TV that the OTP-LHR Tarom flight had an emergency landing at BRU due to a pilots cabin cracked window. The Oxygen Masks were used by the passengers.
The passengers continued their way to LHR with other airlines flights.

Tarom representatives declared that there was a minor problem with the plane but the passengers had a different point of view.
Anyway in the past 2 months there were deferent incidents involving 2 of Blue Air's(Romanian LCC) 737 and 1 of Tarom's ATR-42. In each case airline representatives deny any major threat(all were minor problems) for the passenger altrough the passengers sayed something.

This happens more (cockpit screen cracks). Most of the times it's only the outer panel that cracks. Must be a scary view when at 30,000ft .

Many Belgians died on a Tarom crash some years ago. They came back from a holiday with Best Tours from Thailand. Since then, Best Tours has been using Thai Air as transporter.
