Has anybody got some insight into what costs and issues are involved with taking an old 727-100C used as a freighter and turning it back to a pax aircraft ?
Obviously there is plumbing for oxygen, overhead racks, galley installation, seating rails and seats etc to consider...
What about floor rollers ?
Does one need to renew flooring ?
Also given the 727-100C was intended for dual use with side cargo doors which had windows, are there any issues to be aware of with fuselage cargo doors ?
Anybody hazard a guesstimate at the man-hours or costs involved ?

Well, I have no idea about the costs.
But I think it's quit easy to convert. You can just roll in the interior on special pallets.
The Belgian Air Force had 2 former Sabena 727-29QC's (Quick Change). It took (I think) about 1-2Hrs to convert the cabin from pax to freight or in the other direction
