As Always there remain some mysteries to be solved , so who ever can help me with the requests (showed in the log behind the aircrafttype) Thanks!!!

Further it was remarkable that several freighters suffered heavy delays or didn't show at all.

Kalitta Air Cargo was CANCELLED I think , nobody saw him , neither departing

RAM Air Cargo B737 was also CANCELLED , he didn't show up

First Singapore Cargo B747-400F of the day was CANCELLED to? We neither saw THAT one.

Also the Second American airlines plane suffered heavy delay from ETA 08:30 to ETA 12:10.

Best regards and Best wishes for 2006: Yannick ;)

Thank for sharing your log !

Are you sure about this ? : 10:23 ARR 02 Vueling airlines A320-200 EC-JDK

Isn't it possible that this is the departure to VLC ?

Flight from BCN arrived today at 9:11
and the flight from MAD around 9:30
Best regards,

Hello

Thanks for the quick replies.

Indeed a small correction , I also guess the VLG flight from 10:23 must have been a RWY 07R Departure. It was kind a difficult to get them separated from reg. There where times I think there where two VLG's present at BRU at a time. We saw 3 different VLG planes. :P Never seen so many.

I didn't saw any ABX DC-8F anywhere. I do saw the Fly B737 standing inside the Sabena Technics hangar , together with OO-TUB (wich left the hangar and made place for a DHL B752F I guess it was B-BKMB or something like that. :?)+ a Thomas Cook A320.

The Silverback Cargo DC-8F stood in front of the SAB-tec hangar in company of the Air Horizons and a Virgin Express B737. Saw nothing else from a DC-8. Maybe at the DHL apron or BRUcargo side?

Best regards and Best wishes for 2006: Yannick ;)

Was the VEX B737 a -300 ? The second one to recive the winglets ?

Thanks for the log, there were some nice plane in BRU today.

BTW it should be G-*** and not B**** for the DHL B757 I don't think that G-BKMB exists.

The ABX DC-8 wasn't on it's parking spot, where it was parked yesterday. So I think it departed last night.

Hi, very nice log!
some new one for me like
YV-455CP and 5X-JOS
nice catch!

But I cannot find the existance of I-DAWK MD82 nor TC-JLY A320 in retro c/s, the only A320 in retro c/s I found on the net is TC-JLC.
Maybe a new one?

Regards,
Julien.

Hello

Thanks for the replies and corrections!

Indeed the DHL was G-........ but I don't know the exact registration anymore , didn't log him since he was just pushed in the Sabena Technics hangar.

The Virgin Express in front of the Sabena Technics hangar , I don't know for sure wetter it was a 300 , it might as well be a 400 , maybe for routine maintenance...but it could be a 300 for winglets...lets hope , really enjoyed OO-VEX. But silently I'm hoping that it is a 400 and that HE will be equipped with winglets , but I guess they wont. :(

Anyway. I don't know that for sure.

But the Alitalia MD-82 I-DAWK must exist for 99% sure (only take the one procent insecurity for if I really might be wrong about this one, but I've caught him some more times so I guess he must exist. But maybe no pics can be found directyl , after all , Alitalia has a big fleet of MD-82's (over 90? , maybe now something less but , they once had)

Today(FRI 06/01) I had a short visit to Brussels Heizel (have a look at the new shiny atomium) and I could see a DAS Air Cargo DC 10 climbing out above it.
It was around 1300LT. Does someone has the Reg please? Thank you.

Than we went for a VERY short visit to BRU but when the runways switched we left.( from 25L to 02 for landing).
But I DO could see ANOTHER DAS Air Cargo DC10 landing at 25L , it was
the 5X-JOS that I saw departing yesterday. Seems like ethiopean Really needs the extra capacity. Two DSR DCF's almost together at the airport :P
I could also see the Saudi MD-11F landing RWY 02 overhead the highway Brussels-Leuven. Around 14:35 I think , could it be?

Turkish A320 indeed must have been TC-JLC , wherefor sorry. Must have been blinded and confused while writing the Reg by the THY Türk Hava Yollari Titles :D

Best regards and best wishes for 2006: Yannick ;)

Are DAS only operating their 10's on Ethiopian flights or could it be that they are doing some World flights too?

The Saudia you saw was "charlie" picked up of the SBS-1 link posted earlier in the week - my tip on this is don't load it as you will get little work done cos you will be glued to screen!!!

Keep on dreaming ;) Virgin said it's only the -300 and AFAIK there is no certification program yet for the -400.

And since the conversion program of the -300 isn't successful I wouldn't expect a -400 with winglets for a long time if ever...

@Bruspotter:
Following the JP Airline Fleet List, I-DAWK doesn't exist... Also I-DAVK is impossible because that one is flying for Bulgarian Air Charter (LZ-LDK)... Maybe ask the specialists to be sure

Since early November 2005 they do fly 5x/week to Lagos with own equipment (iso Gemini), hence no special mention in database since December.

I-DATK is possible (still in the fleet) following Airlinerlist.com
I-DAVK left 1 year ago as already said.

sry I didn't check the spotter DB for TC-JLC.. I had so many info in front of me that I forgot..

best wishes for 2006!
lets hope it will be a year rich of spotting surprises! :)

Hi there,

Can someone tell me on which routes the DAS Air Cargo is operating ?

Today @ 14.50LT I saw a nice line-up at the Brucargo ramp:
- 2 SQ 744F
- 1 CX 742F
- 1 Kalitta 742F.

Cheers,

FB.
