Luchtzak.be Downtime

Post by Bottie »

Hi all,

Since this morning (6th of december) we were experiencing some serious problems with our server. According to the technical support at the datacenter this was due to a broken networkcard inside the server, causing a conflict with some of our IP-addresses.

It seems to be solved, but the server is closely monitored now, in case the problem returns.

In name of the crew, our apologies and welcome back!

That was not the problem, the server was running, and it has multiple NIC's, but there was a problem with conflicting IP's, let's say, Murphy's Law was our 'Sinterklaas'-gift.

It was only the Luchtzak.be-domain that went down, Bart has 2 other sites running on the server and they went only down when the server was rebooting

It's not up to me to tell this, maybe Bart doesn't want to be this posted here, so he has to tell it to you ;)

Thanks everyone for your patience yesterday, I was not at home yesterday: playing a match of snooker which we lost 10-8 ;-)

Looks like everything except the mailserver is back up and running.

My other website on the server is www.snookerforum.be but not so big as www.luchtzak.be
