This is a major turn of events in rivalry between Airbus and Boeing this year. Airbus continues to seek more substantial orders from airlines in China, this move is intended to alleviate Boeing's mini-monopoly in this Asian country. Could we also expect some orders for the A350 in the future and an increase in the amount of orders for the A380 in this region?
If the growth continues(which it will) the question might become answered soon.
First Boeing now Airbus- 70 orders for the A320 family

I have seen this report on the bbc business news earlier as well. Good sale of 70 a/c. It would make sense eventually more Chinese carriers will order the SkyBeast (A380). Just because of the way china is developing and the amount of ppl that will eventually be travelling from and to there over the coming years not to mention the olympics. 380 Would look so cool in China Airlines livery.!
