According to the Portuguese press - see http://www.presstur.com/site/news.asp?news=4124 - the deal to buy the A350 will be confirmed on Monday 21 Nov. in Toulouse. The A350 should be delivered in 2015. In the meantime, as TAP can't wait so long, the A310 will be replaced by A330 (3 of them should join TAP next year; it seems these planes will come from another European airline - a Star Alliance member).

Hi,
TAP first A332 is sheduled to arrive this January at Lisboa, followed by the two others in February and March.
Here is the link to the full text in the portuguese press (in portuguese):

And just for curiosity, TAP first A343 in the new livery will be painted in the beginning of the spring, and this December, the A320 aircraft that had already been flying with us (CS-TNC) will com back, but there are also two other A320's about to join TAP fleet in the beginning of the next year.
It will be a great year, like the current one! good luck for TAP!

TAP is one of few major airlines to order the A350 and so it's a good decision made in favour of Airbus. I'm glad that Airbus finally got some support for the A350 in the past few weeks, mainly from Star Alliance carriers. Sky Team and One World have yet to make a mark in the orderbook, maybe IB... .
