as you might have noticed, the flight schedule of this flight has been altered :
15/09 10:25 Nairobi SN 481 10:10
via Entebbe
via Geneva
An extra stop ( choice was between FCO or GVA ) had to be made due insufficient fuel supply in EBB...
Have a great day !

Some good news, though: the plane will land "early" (!) at 9:38.
Maybe some pax will still make their connection.

According to the Geneva airport web-site (
www.gva.ch ) it was scheduled out at 0915 but actually left at 0830. Hopefully some of those connections can be protected.

actually yes, fuel is cheaper, than the countries around... for example france:
a lot of french are coming to switzerland just to take some fuel (and cigarettes
) because the fuel is much cheaper

But that's fuel at the petrol station - which includes taxes. Aviation fuel, for international services should be tax-free. I wouldn't have thought that there would be a big difference in price. However Geneva, at that time of the morning would have (more than) enough gate space to park a wide-body for the time needed to refuel.
