This thuesday, my girlfriend is comming back from her annual holiday in Spain with her parents. I would like to pick her up at the airport so that we can come back to Ostend together.
But since I only have to be at the airport by about 12.30 - 13.00 I will go for some spotting @ 25L in the morning. I was wondering if anyone would care to join me.
Then I have another favour to ask. Is there anyone who would be so kind to give me a ride from 25L to the airport ? Otherwise I have to go back to Brussels trainstation to take another train back to the airport, waisting valuable spotting-time.
Maybe one of you (perhaps EPS aviation) could tell me which aircraft (registration) will be operating flight FQ 2643 (from almeria).
ill meet you there! but no traffic on 25L only R and from 25R you can take bus 271 to melsbroek and get off near the cargo apron and take bus 830 to bru airport arrivals area.
Does anyone have an idea on how long you need to walk to get from 25L to 25R ? I'll be arriving at Kortenberg Station at 07:06. Will I be at 25R by 08:00 ???
Does anyone have an idea on how long it takes by bus to get from 25R to the airport ? Are those services every hour or every 10 minutes ?
on the Cross between 24L and 02 there is some work being done.
and Andries instead of going to Kortenburg station go to Zaventem Station and wait for bus 830 to Zaventem Luchthaven from there you can ride into BRU airport or continue on towards Melsbroek parking Noord and take bus 271 from there to Steenokorzeel. or just look it up on Delijn.be search on reisie info. i beieve 2moro it opperates every hour although you can take anybus towards leuven that passes by Steenokorzeel.

I have looked it up and it came up with this :
Zaventem Station 07:17 - 07:36 Melsbroek Groeneveld (line 272)
Here I have to wait for 6 minutes
Melsbroek groeneveld 07:42 - 07:45 Steenokkerzeel kerk (line 271)
Is that 3 minute busride worth it ? I mean, won't I be faster if I walked instead of waiting 6 minutes ... ?
I also read that the busstop at Zaventem Station is closed due to works ... They sure aren't making it easy to get around ...
Thanks! I hope they will put me on the right side of the plane, otherwise i wouldn't be able to wave.
Greetingzz
Sonny
You can always ask ! When you are amoung the first for check-in, most of the seats are still open and you can ask if they want to assign you the chair you want.
If however you are amoung the last, you only have the seats that are still left ...
you want to get off 2 bus stops after the kerk then cross the road and find a passage maybe 25mters from the bus stop and turn left go down pass a gate and onto a wooden plank then turn left again and you will find the wall and 25R
