I doubt that SN would put its code on the BRU-EWR sector as they already codeshare with AA to JFK.

But the BOM-BRU flight could be an interesting addition in their network.

Here at BRU flightcare is preparing the arrival of Jet Airways. Some personal of the loadsheet will receive a course from a Jet Airways Instructor coming from India. The course will start the 16th of August and will take place till the 21 of august.

Is this meaning Jet Airways will start operations to Brussels soon? Lets hope.

Waldova,

According to the latest I received Jet Airways is in talk with SN Brussels for a possible code share between Bombay and Brussels. They expect to launch the first flight end of September.

The team of Jet Airways at Brussels is also ready and complete. So, let the first flight come to Brussels.

@ Waldova,

Is there a reason why they come with two airplanes? It doesn't bother me, but i'm curious.

What was your source about this first flights? Is there already a final timetable?

As Jet ops BOM/BRU/EWR and visa versa it is normal you have one westbound and one eastbound flight the same day in A343

Ok, I understand that. But according to the post the first flight is on October 5 with two arriving airplanes from BOM. That's not an east and a west flight. Or am I missing something?

I guess 1 is a pax flight and the other is a positioning flight. You can´t fly BRU-BOM and BRU-NY on the same day with the same plane so you need 2 planes.

The estimated date is 5th October, if TSA says it's ok.

BOM-BRU-EWR: 0640 - 0810

EWR-BRU-BOM: 0945 - 1100

Like Brubiac already said, it's not certain that the first operational date will be October 5 2005.

I received today from a very reliable source that the approvals at this moment are not given at Jet Airways to serve to flights to Newark.

At my opinion we have to wait a few more days or like Jet Airways by themselves announced they will serve the route by the beginning of the winter season.

So, it will be October 5 or the end of October

Sorry people, no Jet Airways this year at BRU.

The reason is still the juridicial procedure at the USA around Jet Airways and still no traffic rights for the USA. They predict to start up around spring 2006.

And they don't have the airplanes for that route. They are leased to other companies for a short period and are going to serve the new route from London to Delhi.

But, Jet Airways is trying to start up earlier. Everything depends on third parties.

Jet Airways set to fly to US by Oct-end

India's first private airline Jet Airways will soon announce its much-delayed services to America, with the company hoping to get a formal license.
