Austrian unveiled their new corporate livery.
At the same time, Tyrolean becomes Austrian Arrows.

Nice scheme! But I think they miss the Airlines in Austrian Airlines, and the arrow reminds me of Nike...

Thanks for the image EBOS ;-)

I think the livery would have been better if they had left the blue out of it :? Well just my thoughts

Nice scheme, but I agree with the remarks of the blue; what is the meaning for the blue? Austrian flag is red and white... But maybe red would look to 'cheap'?

I think that in the precious scheme, the line that was on the fuselage was in green and blue, for the nature and the mountains (I think so), but only the blue??

Ben

The new livery is simple but very nice.

Often the simplier the better.

Apart from the belly , the engines are also in blue, but lighter though.

I disagree with the previous comments about the blue. Didn't SN BA also add some light blue to its scheme? Without it, the Austrian colours would be the universal white of all other airlines.

André,

I have nothing aginst the light blue colour. But on SNBA's planes the light blue suites much better with the dark blue than on Austrian's planes. That's all

The first “Austrian” Airbus A330 will take off in the new outfit in November 2003. In 2004, a total of 8 more aircraft belonging to the Austrian Airlines Group (2 Austrian long-haul aircraft, 4 Austrian medium-haul jets and 2 more Austrian Arrows aircraft) will begin exporting the new brand presence to destinations around the world.

The first aircraft to operate with the new design on both the interior and exterior will be the Austrian Airbus A319 scheduled for delivery in spring 2004.

The light blue on the Austrian Arrows Q400 reminds me of the scheme on the FlyBE Q400. But it's nice in my opinion.
