www.airliners.net works here well except loading a photo is very very slow.

A.net is very slow here also, and the pictures do not load always.

Btw, when I first saw the title I thought that you was refering to the flame wars going on there....

That's not unusual but quite common over there ;)

Subdomains http://graphics.airliners.net and http://photos.airliners.net don't function. My guess is that those subdomains are hosted on another server and that server must be offline or under DDOS-attack. Then a DNS resolvment issue might be the case as well.

Is this 'general aviation'-material :?: ;-)

Well Bart, for us Luchtzaker's A.net is GENERAL and not much importance is attached to it, also and since its aviation, then it comes under this head

Not for me, tried yesterday as well and didn't work.

Tracing the IP-adress 130.240.192.52 gives connection till Stockholm. My guess the server that is located in the Lulea Institute of Technology needs a reboot. Will be online soon.

When I tried without success to load Airliners.net earlier I thought it was my blasted Firefox browser up to its usual tricks

Nope it's no-one's browser. It's just plain old down

I suppose it's just waiting that'll help ;)

It still doesn't work for me. :?
They could use some fire under their a****s to get things going, this situation has been going on for half a day now.
At least when Luchtzak is down, the website admins make sure that it is up in a couple of hours (at least it does not take very long).

Well, not much we can do about it, they will come back online someday.
