Dream Job - What's Yours?

Post by Comet »

What is your "dream job", one (or more) job(s) which you have always wanted to do but have never had the chance?

Mine:

Vet (the best job in the world)

Airline Pilot

Operating Theatre Assistant

Travel Writer

Beer Taster at Roman, the brewers of the finest, most magnificent beers in the world :drink:

(And Roman - the amount of plugging and free advertising your products get from The Comet means I should be on your payroll  )
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

Now I work already 16 years in a driving school.

Besides being a mi:lionaire with a private A380-900 (and some smaller ones :D ), I'll go for the airline pilot. Eyes aren't good enough...

My dream job is to be a CEO of a large multinational company (preferably an airline-CEO). Or starting an airline is also not that bad either (but a lot harder).

And the best thing is, I just passed my exams for high school (best student of this year), so I have plenty of opportunities to make my dream come true.
I know that it will be very hard work, but success is based on sacrifice.

Too bad that time is not on my hand (and that military draft does not exists any more in Holland), because otherwise I would have liked to be a reserve-officer in the Army, a Lieutenant in a tank squadron (I absolutely love tanks).

I wouldn't mind being an aircraft mechanic, flight dispatcher or something like that. That's more my kind of thing than the jobs women are supposed to be mad keen to do, like work in a care home or with kids or something.

my current job is already pretty good but i'm not gonna bore you with that... If I could choose, professional aviation photographer would be nice, but I don't think I'll ever be good enough ;)

Traffic planner.

Imagine being able to analyze revenues/costs, and decide whether the airline should open the route or not. U'd be right in the middle of the industry, U'd do a lot of reading and a lot of analyses.

Great i'd love it actually starting to work towards this (getting some useful work experience before though)

oh finally wouldn't mind the same job in a train company.

My dream job was to be a flight attendant...well I have done that and now I have moved on to make my goal to be a operations manager. I have been a ramp, customer service, and charter supervisor and a operations supervisor. I like to keep my hands into things around the airport!

Since I was 7 years old, I dreamed about being a writer, which I am now. When I was 16, I dreamed about becoming a stewardess, which I am now as well.
So at this time, I think it would be pretty cool to be in the front of the plane (iso in the back with the pax), fly the thing (iso being flown) and have my meals and coffee served by my current collegues (iso serving the cockpit crew with help of my collegues).

But somehow, although I was good at maths and science in high school, I think the job of commercial airliner pilot is way over my head.

So maybe I should keep my next dream levelled to owning my own private jet and a handsome husband who flies it for me.
