I think that, just as with SWISS, the national pride will prevent LOT from losing its name.

LOT has been owned at 30% by Swissair and I remember that the cooperation was good, because management was firmly in the hands of LOT directors and Swissair was only providing much needed capital and technical expertise.

I am afraid that undre Lufthansa LOT will completely loose its freedom to decide what is best. It might be compelled to buy the A350 instead of the B787 because Lufthansa said so. Even LOT management could become German.

I also think that under Lufthansa LOT will be forced ta abandon its codeshare agreement witth SN on WAW-BRU. A pity for me.

I don't think that LOT will be forced to switch to the A350, because Lufthansa is seriously considering the B787-330 themselves, as an A300 replacement (in the future).

And did Lufthansa switch the Swiss management to a German one? No, I have not heard something like that. So why would they do that with the LOT management.

They did not need to do that. The Chairman of Swiss was already a German, ex-Lufthansa!
