Air Exel's Wings Clipped
Last week, Erik De Vlieger, a Dutch aviation CEO, owning ExelAviationGroup, finally went to the Dutch court to ask for a sureance for Air Exel. Air Exel, formerly known as KLM Exel, is a regional operator, basing its operations around Maastricht and Eindhoven, but got inot financial difficulties, after breaking the connection with KLM. Air Exel was the first ariline ExelAviation started with, but has no future. The court has now placed Exel under receivership, but Denim Air is now trying to get Air Exel bankrupt, to get all the money Exel owes Denim, for slots at Eindhoven. Exel's main charter airline, Holland Exel (ex. Air Holland) has gotten aid from TUI, but there is lots of speculation that this will also become a TUI airline in the near future.
