I was wondering if anybody else like me creates their own aicraft/Airport database on their pc's and to what extent they do it.
For the last year or so I have started putting together a mass database of Airline Logos, Info, Fleet Histories,Airports, as well as Dling every pic I can find of each aircraft/Airport and making construction databases with it.
Does anyone else do anything like this? Or am I the only one trailing all the image sites on a daily basis lol
I do this as well. I have a collection of over 1,000 aircraft pictures all sorted by airline/aircraft/where the picture was taken. I also have a large collection of airline timetables, airline ads (print and video), and a Northwest Airlines fleet history page that I put together myself after a lot of research (I can send it to you if you want it).

In a distant past, I had translated many airport arrivals/departures schedules on my PC in Lotus 1-2-3 format. Airports covered: BRU-ANR-CRL-GVA-WAW-KTW-KRK-Gdansk.
Now I have all the Brussels and Manchester schedules (inbound/outbound) on my PDA, downloaded regularly (at a cost: €49/yr) from OAG.

I have the Lufthansa, Flybe and Go timetables downloaded onto my PC, but that is purely because of the VAs I fly for. Also I have to download the British Airways timetable regularly as well for the same reason.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.
