Why would you build a new terminal when you have only around ten wide bodies coming daily to BRU and when the B terminal is almost empty in the afternoonLoadcontroller wrote:Maybe the idea of removing the satellite and place a new building over there for long-hauls will become reality!

Yes, more or less. Slots are time sensitive, remember?Brubiac wrote:Themole,
do you have any idea about the schedules in and out of BRU.
It is much too soon for an official confirmation or press release. It might even take a few more weeks, if not months. So I can't give you any official reference for the time being.regi wrote:Still no mentioning of Brussels on the Etihad website.
Wishfull thinking?
But maybe this link gives your confidence in the Etihad Airways Brussels operations a much needed boost, http://careers.etihadairways.com/Englis ... /index.asp
An offline station doesn't require a duty manager, airport manager or customer service agents.

EDIT
I decided to withdraw from a forum where forum rules don't apply to everyone, and where the Arab community & business culture is allowed to be insulted (cfr. other topics, messages and even latest news submissions). As if all Arabs are terrorists or all Arab airlines are subsidized companies, financed with petroleum dollars??? People who think in this way are narrow minded idiots, no more or less. And as usual, it only takes a few idiots to spoil it for the rest.
To the administrators: I will monitor this website in silence as from now on. It will undoubtedly make your work a lot easier. Please make sure nobody crosses any legal boundaries, especially not when I turn out to be directly or indirectly involved. If it happens anyway, this website will go down and legal actions will be taken.
Why am I not saying all this via a private message? Because the "chitchat" days are over ...

If the press release will be sent out only after weeks or months, then at that moment there may still be a need for an additional booking period of several weeks preceding the first flight. It is much too soon for an official confirmation or press release. Probably we may be safe to assume that Etihad wants to make use of Summer 2005 to transport a part of the many European holiday makers. Therefore if I would need to make a GUESS

Frequency is four times weekly, with an Airbus A330-200. Flights arrive at 2215 and depart at 2355.
Will be great to see Eithad Airways A330-200s in Toronto and the first Middle Eastern carrier to fly out of here.
