Extra TUIfly traffic for OST due to runway works at Lille airport.
Easyjet and others prefer to longer route(longer by road) to Paris CDG.
Lille-OST 96
Lille-Paris 251 km
CDG-Lille by train 1 hour (trainstation at the airport)
OST-Lille by train 2h30min. (trainstation 30 min busride from airport)
Passengers are transported by coach.
As for the busride from the station to OST airport it takes less than 30 mins during the day with a frequency of 6 busses a hour.
The bus goes first to Raversijde Middenlaan and then to the airport.( www.delijn.be)

LIL airport is providing a shuttle indeed, but most passengers live south of LIL and CDG is more convenient than OST. Many will travel by their own means.

With a delay of more than a year Aerocircular has finally started operations at the airport.
At this moment they are working on 2 A320's.
The CEO said that it was hard work to get the right permits in Flanders but thanks to the support of the airport and the city of Ostend they finally got them.
Frustrated with the length of time these permits were taking in Flanders they were looking at LGG instead as at the other side of the country there are less problems...
