Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Indeed, seems the BHX and MAN nightstops are gone for SN, same for LYS and PRG.
No wonder with outsourcing, SN is having too many pilots...sad though...

Already mentioned on the previous page
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
With a list of routes, you don't know much.
Not all flights of these routes will be flown with the Q400 however ...
After all: the previous Q400 (on the Hannover route) + these two + eventually some additional Q400 ... are all in all marginal in the overall fleet.
Nevertheless, I would be happy to fly one sooner or later

A quick search in the GDS shows these individual flights as operated by Q400:DannyVDB wrote:With a list of routes, you don't know much.

Some remarks:
2 more q400 can be expected to replace the smaller BDregional E-jets in a later stage on BRS and NCL.
Note the absence of TLS after AF pulled away from opening a daily flight to BRU, hence one BE Q400 less on wet lease than first expected for this summer (2 iso 3)
First plane in paint shop in EMA right now according to some sources at BE.
Sadly no code share between BE an SN, which is a pitty IMHO, as it means they remain competitors on MAN (SN ironically with a wet leased BE plane, lol)
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
It looks to me you need at least 3 a/c to operate the above schedule!
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
That's chat they will have: the 2 from Flybe and the one already in operation ...

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Luckily, the competition occurs on the same time of plane, the Q400. It would have been strange to see Flybe using an E175 for its own flights and a Q400 for the SN flights.tolipanebas wrote:Sadly no code share between BE an SN, which is a pitty IMHO, as it means they remain competitors on MAN (SN ironically with a wet leased BE plane, lol)

Don't know if they have been posted already, but here are a few pictures of ex-SN RJ85s stored at SEN.

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
According to airfleets.net, OO-DJQ is stored as G-CHDO. Why hasn't the registration been changed on the plane?tolipanebas wrote:Don't know if they have been posted already, but here are a few pictures of ex-SN RJ85s stored at SEN.

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
This happens a lot with stored aircraft. Since they are not flying, what's the point? When the aircraft are sold or leased to another operator, a new registration will have to be applied anyway.sn26567 wrote:According to airfleets.net, OO-DJQ is stored as G-CHDO. Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Apparantly VEP left for Dubai as BEL9901 on the 25th of March and to Singapore as BEL9903 yesterday...exit OO-VEP???
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Normally OO-MJE left BRU as SN9905 to NSI.

The first Korongo ferry flight: maybe you should post this in the Korongo topic too?
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Is there someone who knows when OO-SSN , OO-SND & OO-SNC will arrive in BRU?
Best regards,

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
According to Skyliner:
- Delivery 28 March IST-BRU: OO-SNC, ex- D-ALTH (Air Berlin), A320-214
- Delivery 28 March IST-BRU: OO-SNC, ex- D-ALTH (Air Berlin), A320-214
And about OO-MJE they mention delivery on 27 March: BRU-ALG-FIH.airbuske wrote:Normally OO-MJE left BRU as SN9905 to NSI.
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Just saw on Skyliner: OO-SND delivered to BRU today. No news so far of OO-SSN.
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
That is funny: it was delivered at BRU right while talking about it in another topic.
So that makes 4 A320s now in total, right?

In the korongo topic, tolipanebas mentioned this:MR_Boeing wrote:And about OO-MJE they mention delivery on 27 March: BRU-ALG-FIH.airbuske wrote:Normally OO-MJE left BRU as SN9905 to NSI.
Given he seems to be a very accurate source normally, I suppose skyliner got it only half right, Mr_Boeing?tolipanebas wrote:OO-MJE arrived at FBM yesterday evening, after a flight BRU - ALG - TMR - KAN - NSI - BZV - FBM.
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
SNC has been registered on the 30th of March, nothing for SND yet...Inquirer wrote:That is funny: it was delivered at BRU right while talking about it in another topic.
