Re: Air Belgium in 2020
It is 26 February 2020, so normally tomorrow, on Friday or on Saturday the new destination should be announced. I don't really know what it is, it will be a surprise (if it is not Mauritius...).TLspotting wrote: ↑13 Feb 2020, 21:01 Air Belgium is to announce the new destination in end February, however, the airline denies that it will be Mauritius.
OO-ABE went already AOG at Warsaw, after some maintenance at Brussels yesterday.

There's no KF5961 flight in September due to bad weather in the Antilles at that period (via their FAQ).

AB operates a few flights (ACMI or Charter). ABA went on Saturday to PTP, to pick up passengers to FRA as KF4902. Now ABD and ABE are on their way to PTP, to repatriate 625 passengers.

ABD and ABE flew to PTP, then PUJ and finally CDG.TLspotting wrote: ↑16 Mar 2020, 22:45 AB operates a few flights (ACMI or Charter). ABA went on Saturday to PTP, to pick up passengers to FRA as KF4902. Now ABD and ABE are on their way to PTP, to repatriate 625 passengers.
First repatriation flight happened today with the usual KF5961 flight, to be also operated on Thursday and Saturday at least, Friday flight not yet confirmed.
Air Belgium expects to restart on 2 May 2020.

Nothing relevant. Normal life of a company....
Re: Air Belgium in 2020
I wonder how Air Belgium will be able to position itself while SN will face hard times after the coronavirus crisis...
Re: Air Belgium in 2020
No where I guess, Air Belgium was mainly making money with ACMI contract (British Airways, Lot, etc) with the reduce demand those contract will certainly stop. Add to that that the regular twice weekly flight to the carribean will face some hard time too. There is no space for Air Belgium anymore

Help for all BELGIAN AIRLINES will be needed and given. Other countries will do same.
