It was related to a reply you've posted in another topic a few days ago.

The engines of Airbus are from the same manufactor than the engines of Boeing, so I cannot see why you blame Airbus for this? There are also other parts and especially mechanical parts that are build by the same manufactor for Boeing and Airbus. And if the Airbuses would be so bad, why have they than so a big order book for the? It is just my opinion about it.

Yep you're right !
I hate the Airbus Systems with all the same cockpit but it's easier for the pilot conversions...and the airbus planes are also very beautiful.
But i agree that they have more problems than Boeing, it sure that boeing have a bigger experience than Airbus...
People how buy aircraft are not the first the best people. The calculate also the maintenance costs and have also info about breakdowns. And look to OO-VAC = Boeing there were already problems 1 day after delivery.

At the moment, a friend of mine is doing his practical stage at SAS maintance ( his mum is swedish ) and again, no probs with the douglas planes and boeing.... But with the a330 and a340 again a lot.
It`s a shame that Airbus can`t fix the electronical, engines and hydraulic problems.
Airbus a330 and a340???? NO WAY!
Well well I think I know somebody who will like this very much.
You too, it's 777 ......you know andre.
Do not forget where the aircrafts of SNBA are flying to. That are not normal conditions there in Africa, I have seen a documentary where cows are running over the runway when the aircraft is landing, that is not normal. So in Africa there will also be a lot of birds in the area of the runway. So a bad runway (dirt) and birds are not the favourite items of an aircraft engine. I think that that is the price that SNBA need to pay for flying to Africa.
I think you like the airbus, the airbus was alway`s very popular by the cabin crew, or not?
I am not all cabin crew, and I hate this plane, no design, nothing unique.
All Boeing airliners have something of their own. OK the nose of the 737 and 727 are taken from the 707. But the 727 introduced the popular
tri-jet (not like the trident). And the 737 became the most produced
jetliner in the world.
'777' will probably elaborate on this.

Hi liebensd,
Do you have any idea how many Boeing's are flying around central africa ?
Many !!! Why do so many 707's fly in congo, because they are reliable,
which in africa is even more important than elsewhere.
