New Vueling route MAD-AGP, MAD-IBZ and MAD-PMI are on sale until 17/09, so I suppose it's only a seasonal summer service.

Probably the plane operating this routes from october will be use to add new frequency on existing route from MAD to several europen city such as CDG, AMS, FCO, MXP....

In other news, Vueling reopen AGP-BIO route from 29/06 to 17/06 daily, always as a seasonal summer service.

Vueling from the winter season will double the frequency on the existing MAD-FCO and MAD-AMS route from 1x to 2x daily flights. This new flights has already on sale!

Which will be the other new route for the winter season?

There is a hope of an increase in frequecy also on the MAD-MXP route?

They asked slots at DUS , FRA and MUC
So it seems that they would like to enter the german market.

vueling at DUS :D!
those are great news.

when do you think that we will know more about this destination?
will it be DUS-Madrid? what about DUS-AGP (that would be even better for me but i guess that in that route they would have many competitors) ?

They asked for MAD - DUS - MAD

I don't know exactly when we will know more about this.

I think they first would like to see how the german market react on
their service before adding more destinations.

Recently the Spanish government decided on allowing citizens of the newly integrated EU countries to work legally in Spain. This situation reminds me of the very good reaction of the low-cost market of Great Britain and Ireland, when Poland joined the EU. Many new routes were established and new carriers-especially, low-cost carriers, entered Poland. So far routes to Great Britain and Ireland are an "el dorado" for the well developed airlines such as easyjet, Aer Lingus, Ryanair. Finland also decided to do the same thing and right away the market responded, Finnair added another flight almost everyday and so did LOT, Blue1 started flying to Warsaw, Finnair started to fly to Krakow.

I'm trying to imply the same to Spain. Many Poles will migrate in search for employment in Spain and looking at the current low-cost market Norwegian has yet to start its new routes to Spain and SkyEurope is just present on the seasonal Krakow-Barcelona-Krakow route. The other two players are 'traditional' airlines- LOT and Air Europa. As for Norwegian they will try to concentrate on holiday destinations like Malaga, Alicante and Girona. The most important cities like Warsaw-Madrid v.v. and Warsaw- Barcelona v.v. are only served by either LOT or Air Europa. Therefore there is some ground to be gained and it will be very interesting to see if Vueling or the new Iberia's low-cost off-shoot do something in this direction.
