In the article:

Wow! Were the people SO panicked?

Further:
Le bourgmestre de Woluwe-Saint-Pierre ... et celui de Wezembeek-Oppem ... estiment que l’on est passé à deux doigts d’une catastrophe sur le territoire de leur commune.
The pilot must have been REALLY bad then...

And finally:
Qu’allait-t-il donc se passer si l’appareil concerné appartenait à une compagnie congolaise ou africaine ? SN Brussels se trouvera-t-elle aussi sur la prochaine liste noire des compagnies d’aviation interdites de survoler l’espace aérien des 25 Etats membres de l’Union européenne ?
Good idea: put SN Brussels on the blacklist of the European Union and let them only fly in Africa... :twisted:

BTW, Scibe Zaire got a similar treatment 10 or 12 years ago when their DC10 did some low-pass sightseeing over BRU (all engines running).
