that's strange... thanks to the extra MMZ flight, all the delays should be disappeared...

My holidays

Post by EBBROT6 »

Hi,
I'm working at BRU and i was one of the passengers waiting their return flight to BRU at PUJ. On the departure date (10 o'clock local), we were told that the flight has a 6 h delay. (We were still at the hotel). Six hours later (16 o'clock), we have received a fax telling that OO-TUC had an technical issue and were instructed to stay at the hotel until further notice.
As we were at the same hotel as the crew we were kept up-to-date. So the next day when the 767 left the Canada (19 local), we were told to leave the hotel. Finally we can go back home...
Aboard (3 o'clock), en route to Brussels via Puerto-Plata, i had a discussion with a man who spent almost two days in military buildings...Poor guy... and i was complaining about the fact that i had to spend one more day at the hotel...
Leaving Puerto-Plata, the Captain told us why we had such a delay.

By the way, i love the forum.

He was still in the hangar yesterday (thursday) as I saw him with own eyes...
It didn't look as he was gonna fly very fast again

I don't know where you got the information, but the plane was still in the hangar 40 this morning (friday).
I heard the summary of open items and it will take a while before he leaves the hangar at SNT...

Maybe it's a wet lease who flies for TUI with a 767...

yesss, that's correct: the plane was a 767-300, and the flight was without additional stop (in Lisbon).

So I assumed OO-TUC was flying again.

An unreliable source me somebody changed OO-TUC into OO-STUC...
