Correct !

The mechanism that provides the oxygen for the masks is installed above the seats and should supply 15 minutes of oxygen for every seat. Unlike what most people think, this doesn't come from 1 central tank ! There is such a special "oxigen-maker" installed for every 3 seats. When you pull down the mask, you activate the system and oxygen flows out of all 3 masks.

So it doesn't help fighting for all 3 masks, once 1 stops giving oxygen, the other 2 do too ... Once activated, oxigen comes out of all 3 masks, no matter what !

The Crew however gets it's oxygen from a central tank. Their masks give oxigen on demand, so only when you breath in. That way no oxigen will be lost if a crewmember with mask on is dead (of buiten westen).
They get oxigen as long as the tank isn't empty ... on average about 30 to 40 minutes ...

For those who might think 15 minutes isn't enough, you are wrong. As soon as there is a decompression, the pilot has to descend to 8.000 feet or lower where the oxigen level is high enough for humans to survive and that should be possible in less than 10 minutes ...

OK, André, your turn !

Since I have no time to wonder about it, I will go for a common engine available on a basic A320:

The CFM56-5C

If it is the answer you are expecting, then lucky me, if not, I will try next time!

Seb.

Correct, Trevor. IAE = International Aero Engines

The nice thing about this game is that it compels people to make some research. Your turn, Trevor!

Andries beats me to it, but i had to write

German carrier Hapag-Lloyd Flug became the first airline to fly the Boeing 737-800 with blended winglets.

The test flight took place Sept. 26 2000 in Seattle.

Boeing globemaster C-17
I've already noticed that it's not correct. The C-17 has 4 engines.
I keep searching
