Saudia Cargo also uses Saudia for flights...
Of course, we know that.
Like quite a lot of the current pax companies who are transporting cargo without their own cargo company at BRU. Or like in the past AA. They had a lot AA cargo here.

Let's be honest, cargo on certain routes is more valuable then pax. Certain routes to/from BRU are still existing bcs of the belly cargo...
That's what I meant. This could be a hint about the future route to Riyadh ;)

Maybe CRL becomes also too expensive for them. Besides the federal tax (double), also the CRL town will add an extra tax.
Just guessing of course, but Volotea never wanted to fly to BRU but to typical low cost airports. So, this move is remarkable.

Volotea is not targeting budget airports, but rather regional ones. But it's still quite remarkable.
Hasta la victoria siempre.

New route
Vueling launches Palma (Mallorca) on March 26, 4x weekly with A320, up to 6x weekly (incl. 2x daily on some days) before the peak summer season.

This is their 7th destination.

BRU is really hot the last couple of weeks. I believe that, untill now, it's the most busiest Summer they have.

On a side note, also Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong are doing very good.

Let's cross fingers that 2026 will be an excellent year

2027 should be nice too :)
What is also crazy is that for once we have no major decrease to compensate the growth, apart from JFK by DL.

Exactly, but a bit early to announce it already. But again we will have the mix of home carrier and foreign carriers who will expand also in 2027. A healthy mix

Not only JFK by DL but also the second Newark flight of UA will be discontinued.
This means that only 2 flights per day remain and this for the most popular LH destination from BRU. If SN is capable to fly it daily, which is the question.

It would make sense to introduce two A321LR into the fleet for a late NY flight. Sometimes the second one (back-up) could make heavy flights?
