Quite an extraordinary day today.

This morning there was up to 100 minutes individual delay due to fog/low ceiling.

EBBR 270350Z 03006KT 0600 R25L/1100VP1500U R25R/1300D R02/0800VP1500D FG BKN001 BKN002 08/07 Q1014 NOSIG

After that the construction works on RWY 02 had to be suspended due to the strong northeastern winds. This again causes increased taxi times and delays.

EBBR 270950Z 02012KT 9999 FEW015 13/09 Q1014 NOSIG

I'm curious what this will give during the evening rush.

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Quite a strange runway configuration at the moment (1330Z)...

* Runway 25L for arrivals
* Runway 07L for departures

Runway 07L as main departing runway is already quite rare, but even more rare in combination with 25L arrivals...

Regards, Robin Bamps.

This morning we had 25L and 25R.
Now at the moment they use runways 02 and 07R.

will runway 25R-07L be closed for all other traffic during the flyby, airshow with C130's on 14 september 2008?

is runway 02-20 still closed because of work in progress?

Runway 02-20 is out of service until the 21th of September. For the moment we have wind coming for the NE. Runways 07L (take off) and 07R (landing) are in use. The weather forecast for tomorrow says wind coming for the NE. So you may expect for tomorrow that runways 07L and 07R will be used.

Kind regards
Bavo

For tha moment:

dep: RWY 20
arr: RWY 25R

Know that they will switch back to 25 R/L somewhere in the late afternoon (think around 1800l), but not to shure. If someone could confirm this.

Hi all,

interesting use of runways on Thursday (22.01.09) afternoon:
20 for landing, 20 for starting, 25L/07R and 25R/07L were both not in use.
Two reasons, I think:
- strong winds from SW
- no heavy traffic

Let's see what we'll have on Monday, when I'll be flying again from MUC to BRU...

Greetz,

shrek
