Orval, Leffe and Duvel - very good  We can't get anything else into the beer cupboard just now, it's crammed! Last night we had Gouden Carolus Christmas, the kind of thing I have wanted to try for ages and can only get hold of by importing it from Belgium myself. It was a very nice and strong beer.

That looks interesting!

In Belgium last week I had Vieux Temps, Mort Subite Apple and Westmalle Tripel.

I can imagine that certain members of the forum might soon be making their usual critical comments about my taste in beer

Three good beers. I like all three of them. The new Mort Subite Apple (Manzana) is surprising!

Well Andre I am surprised! Finally something we agree on regarding beers  VC10 had the same as me except when I had the Westmalle Tripel she had Chimay Blue (this was in Cirio, the Mort Subite was in the Morty Cafe and the Vieux Temps in Brussels Cafe).

I went to borough market in the south of london, and they sell beers from all over the world, here are the belgium beers i bought:
Image
Floris Chocolat, It was so weird, i tried really hard to like it, but i didn't, anyway it's a cool beer to have in your hand at a party!
Image
Nocturnus Delirium: Very strong beer, but i liked it very much!

and i couldn't resist a little pecheresse

Always so tasty and refreshing: A Pleasure! It tastes like Channel N.5. It reminds me my adolescence.

How's the new Mort Subite ?

The new Mort Subite Apple (Manzana)
Why isn't it called "Pomme" instead of "Manzana"?

The new Mort Subite is very pleasant and refreshing, and you can really taste the apples. I like all the Morty beers but they are more for easy drinking than serious savouring.

I am not too keen on the Floris Chocolat, it tastes weird, but the Delirium Nocturnum is very good. Does this shop stock the one and only and incomparable Sloeber? I could only bring two bottles back last week.
