In my opinion, just taking away the license of this pilot is not enough. He is playing with the lives of so many people. If an accident would happen he would be the one to blame. He would have killed so many people in one time.
They should have far more severe punishments for people who play with the lives of people.

If a drunk driver killes a pedestrian he gets imprisonment. So this would be more the way I would go for this kind of people.

I suspect we will hear nothing more of the pilot until they are in court....unless you look really hard in the press. Try the Pakistani press though....

Would you want to seem him charged with attempted manslaughter or something like that?

He lost his license, he won't be able to fly anymore. He'll probably end up scrubbing the toilets at the airport, or something like that. This is not the same as drunk drivers losing their driving license, unless they were actually driving for a living.

Anyway, whatever his reasons for drinking were, I doubt this incindent will cause him to quit drinking, quite the opposite I'm afraid.

I would like to see him charged with something yes. Come on, he is playing with so many lives. That is just not acceptable for me and it shouldn't be for anybody!!

My sentiments exactly!!!! Refer to my earlier post on this subject, but he should be charged with something or have some sort of punishment other than losing his license. This should serve as a deterrant to pilots who think they can slip by. I, honestly, hate pilots who do this because they give our occupation a bad reputation!!!!!!!!
