If you look a little bit around, and make your reservation a bit in advance you pay less with regular airlines.

At the end of this month I fly to Washington DC - Direct flight with United Airlines and I only paid 363,00 € :D
That's my thought exactly.
When i was checking prices to fly to the US and back a few months ago prices were like this:

+- 400 € in winter (retour)
+- 800 € in summer (retour)

No big happy face for me with this article...

Continental Airlines axed its Stansted to New York service in the aftermath of 9/11, three years ago.

SkyLink Airways is currently recruiting for cabin crew and airport staff to be based at Stansted.

A Stansted Airport spokesman said: "Nothing is definitely concrete at the moment. They're very keen to start services from here this year."
