It was a scheduled B777-300ER (EK182). Only the belly could load vaccines:

If what is told in the press regarding the cooling requirements, dry ice will be the limitation. You can't simply load an aircraft full of pallets cooled by dry ice because of ventilation requirements.

What airlines can we expect for the transport of the vaccines?
As already known LX will have a bigger plane once a week to BRU, and other ones will follow with bigger equipment (any ideas?)
Maybe for BRU a return of Avianca Cargo? Or a chinese Cargo player?

And what about LGG or OST?

Delta Airlines will start a 3x weekly service between DTW and BRU for cargo only flights.
Starting 18/01 till March with the A330-300, in March they switch to A350-900.

Good evening,
I would like to relaunch this subject to give some news. In Brussels, quite a few companies came occasionally to transport vaccines. Delta Airlines or United more frequently. But recently if I'm not mistaken Etihad Cargo also comes 4 times this week for vaccines. Atlas Air is scheduled to come on Saturday for the shots and is bound for Chicago along with United's 772s. As I recall, no other planes or other company have come to collect vaccines yet but we are at the start of the vaccination period and we can still expect some visitors in the weeks and months to come

If you have press articles or other information they are all welcome !
