i think the small isle of barbados can lift its head up.

the runway at grantley adams intl is 18000'!!!

No it's not, I just measured it in Google Earth, it's about 3600 meters, or 12000 feet.

u r correct, earthman.

just realized that the info provided by "world airport codes dot com" was incomplete/incorrect. my bad!

my google calc results in an even shorter strip, 3318.

Well, due to the resolution of the images of Barbados, I am not entirely sure where the runway starts and ends. Are the gray/brown areas at either end also part of it, or not, etc.
