If you have more tips to save a little money I'll be glad to hear of it. :P
You get what you pay for...

It's the same when buying a new car. If you go to the dealership to order a VW Polo, don't expect to get a Bentley when you receive the car...

and you conveniently leave out the other options (Light&Relax and Flex&Fast). How biased!
What pure nonsense ! You get wath you pay for ?! I am sorry but the check & go fare average out at about 80 euro while Ryanairs cheapest fare averages around 45 euro.
So why the hell would you fly Bruair if they are gonna give you exactly the same crap for your buck? (hint: just a smile aint gonna cut it.)

oh dear not the same discussion over and over again of I can not find this fare....I have lots of friends who do find these fares... One of my friends told me a couple of days ago that he booked three tickets at these low fares, so there must be a way. But let me tell you how most people do it : they subscribe to the newsletter and once there is a promotion, they go online and book the tickets...
Of course if you are looking the day before you leave you will not find the cheapest fares, the same with Ryanair.
And my comment was that you cannot expect to pay the lowest fare and receive a business class treatment. THAT was my comment!
And by the way, if you think that going the extra smile is actually about a smile alone than you didn't quiet get it...

i've booked BRU-LIS-BRU for 8 people.
BRU-LIS: FR, 26.28 EUR pp (on a Thursday evening in Jan)
LIS-BRU: SN, 44.60 EUR pp (on the following Sunday)

both included Seat selection.

BRU-LIS on SN would've been around 70 EUR pp, LIS-BRU on FR was around 85 EUR pp (for the afternoon one).
TAP was around 150 EUR RT.

it remains to be seen, and depends on day and route which one is the cheapes imo
