Blackhawk, how could you get the figures already on 30 June? The AEA press release with the May figures was issued only on 20 July (https://www.aviation24.be/article4984.html)?

I have the same question as you André. And it seems that I won't be able to update my table anymore :(

Are you maybe a member of their site Blackhawk ??

blackhawk gave me the information by PM. In fact, there is no secret: the figures can be downloaded from the AEA website after registering: www.aea.be -> Facts & Figures -> Monthly Traffic & Capacity -> Download Excel Datasheet

I heard a couple of days ago (don't know where anymore) that the Loadfactor of SNBA rose about 10% compared to last year during July. This would mean that the LF would nearly reach the 80% mark this summer. But of course this doesn't mean high profits since the yields aren't very high during the summer.

Well SN LF seem to improve, but how are the yields doing ?

There is still a lot of work to do, but SN is on the right path :)

Didn't SN say that a 60% LF was sufficient to be profitable?

I wonder whether the July load factor includes the charter flights, which normally are near to full.

I talked to some people at Vueling! They have a loadfactor all together of between 70 and 80 %. From Belgium to Spain it is always between 50% and 70%.

Took SN2586 on Wednesday 22-09-2004 go and return same day to Tempelhof.
Plane was full both ways.
Probably because of the trade fair in Berlin. But anyway, it was full.
By the way, Tempelhof is weird! But I like it. It was the first time that I experienced stepping out of an airplane inside a hangar.
Good when it rains.
Descend on Berlin was very bumpy.

Only Sabena, and after it SN Brussels, got that privilege as the main users of Tempelhof. That's why they are so reluctant to move to Tegel.

Not only because they are a big customer of the airport, but also because Sabena was the first airline to come to Tempelhof if I remember correctly.

Regi,

I hope you enjoyed the particular treatment (parking under roof etc.. ) at Tempelhof since this route will soon be discontinued.

yes you are right, great service.
The airport building looks like a 1950 boarding school, yellow and grey tiles.
The boarding rooms are outdated. But it works anyway.
SN check in staff told me that it was still unclear what would happen to them. But they expect to get a new post at Tegel, certainly not at Schönefeld.
Anyway, I suppose Tempelhof was the airport of a european capital where you got quickiest from the plane into your taxi. It took me less than 5 minutes! Unbelievable.
No, even Düsseldorf will not beat that.

The contrast with the catacombs walk in Zaventem is enormous. if that is progress, well, I prefer Tempelhof.

Nice to see a LF above the 70% again, but I hope that it won't descen too much during the winter months ......

BTW thanks for updating André ;)
