Hi V-Bird,

The problem with the MD-11 is (as far as I know) that it did not reach the specifications (like maximum distance the aircraft can cover, fuel burn etc) that McD had promissed.

I don't say that the dispatch reliability is low, just that the aircraft doesn't meet up it's expectations.
