Indeed and that's a good move. With advertising another alliance than Star, they show to Oneworld (and Skyteam) that they are not a "Star-only" airport.
Um, it's not a 'move' at all: Oneworld pays Brussels Airport for the advertising space => Brussels Airport puts up the ad. You don't actually believe this was Brussels Airport's initiative, do you?

No I don't believe that it was a BRU initiative, but BRU could say to Oneworld "No, we are now a Star hub so we don't need your advertising". And believe me, If BRU was a bigger airport and SN a big/strong home carrier they would refuse to advertise other alliances. So, ok it's not a real "move" but you can say that it's better than only advertising Star and that's what i ment.

But we are going way off-topic. ;) So back on-topic. ;)

They can still use the pax tunnel in case of a Star Alliance dedicated NT2, just turn the entrance of the tunnel at departures level towards the NT2 and make this the main entrance.

Besides, I assume that Star Alliance presence at BRU will mainly be about connecting pax, more then O&D pax, so the focus on Star Alliance operations should be towards maximizing the transfer stream inside the Star Alliance concourse A.

If Oneworld pays enough money to advertise, I don't think BRU would ever turn them down. Star Alliance will, without a doubt, understand this. It's not like we're alking about kids on a playground here...

does BRU airport sell / rent the advertising spaces themselves at all? I would expect they are sold all together to a media agency which than does the actual business with clients, in this case oneworld. Of course BRu airpprt as owner could make restrictions on what kind of products they would like to see, but the more restrictions, the less money for the contract ;) In FRA or MUC you will find posters from oneworld or skyteam as well ...
